A little about me...

I have been an accounting professor at Raritan Valley Community College since September 2007, and it has been the best career decision I have ever made.  But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself....

I received my B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from Montclair State University in 1998.  I went on to pass all parts of my CPA exam in October 1998 (in the old days it was only offered twice a year and you had to sit for all parts at once).  During this time, I was employed by EY (formerly Ernst&Young), one of the Big 4, as an auditor and later moved on to the Human Capital group which specializes in international taxation.  In this same period, I also managed to earn an M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall, get married, start a family, and build a house (with the combined hands of all my family members) during my years with EY.  I spent several years working for a private relocation company as the manager of international tax and compensation before finding my way to my passion....TEACHING!

Currently, I teach a variety of classes at RV including Financial, Managerial, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Tax II Accounting.  Classes are offered in live, online, and in hybrid formats to serve a variety of student needs.  Hopefully, I'll see you in one of my classes!
